The sexual feeling of shooting a gun

Today I encounted a sweet young man, just wanted to eat him up, he was so cute, but he was more interested in my opinions and brain and not my body. That's a change.

He wanted to know how I felt about owning a gun, he's writing a paper for his class.

I told him all the control laws don't work, you can do all the laws you want but criminals do not obey the laws, they will get guns, through their own blackmarket, the gun control laws are a sham.

At the big gun shows here in California, they have security patrolling the park lots to prevent sales from cars, the police are there as a presence and if someone brings in a gun to sell, it gets tagged, and locked by the police, all sales of modern guns MUST be done through a federally licencsed arms dealer that is sanchioned by the state and must adhere to the 10 day waiting period. The police patrol these gun shows to make sure nothing illegal is being done. And when you exit even with an antique weapon you must pass police inspection. The laws are in place.

But they only work on the legal gun owner, not the criminal.

All that control does is hurt the honest citizen that wants to protect his life, liberty, family and home.

Just recently in Texas, 3 criminals were breaking down a door to this man's home to rob and possibly harm him and his family. They wore hoods and were prepard for robbery, the man had his wife and two children hide in a back bedroom. Then when the robbers were almost through the door he pulls the trigger on his shotgun and killed the first robber, the other two ran away.

Texas police said the man had to make a quick decision and protect himself and family, it was a justifiable shooting.

Now here in California in San Pablo, a shop owner who had been robbed several times in the past and nearly killed, shot and killed a robber who jumped his counter with a sawed off shot gun. The robbers' pal ran off, the shop owner was upset, but he had had enough, the robber who was killed was 16 years old and already starting a life of crime with intent to kill. Well he won't be doing that anymore.

The police also said that it was a justifiable shooting, and I told this sweet young man that if the robbers family tried to bring a lawsuit against the shop owner I would want to be on that jury to find the shop owner as being innocent.

I own a 9 mm berreta, it's sleek and black, it kicks in my hand with each shot and I love the way the bullet finds its target, I'm planning to buy a .38 smith and wesson revolver as well and get a conceal carry permit.

To be able to safely shoot a gun and hit the target is empowering, and powerful, to be properly trained to handle it is the hight of sexiness, to work your mind, to know if you are in a good position for a clean shot to defend yourself, is like being a tigress sizing up a prey.

When I walk the street to go home from work there are some areas that are just a bit risky at night, but I walk empowered, I am not meek nor mild, I walk with a stride that sends off signals "I'm empowered, I WILL defend myself, and if you try to harm me, I will hurt you back 3 times worse"

And those little boys with their sagging pants and hoodies, look at me and look away, I'm not butt ugly, at 5' 8" tall with long black hair and a figure that would make you think of "Seven of Nine" from "Voyager" I've had more than my share of admiring looks, but they look away because they know I will hurt them. I'm not their prey.

Owning a gun, knowing how to safely handle it, being properly licensed for it makes me feel strong.

And it's not the size of the gun either, it's the person behind it who is empowered. So all you little boys who think shooting your gun holding sideways is smart you are stupid, it shows that you don't know the first thing about guns, your just iddy-biddys.

I told sweet young thing that when I go into a gun store I love looking and handling the revolvers, checking them out, checking the sights, the heft, it reminds me of that scene in "Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" where Tuco is putting together a perfect gun from different parts, so that it is the right gun, of course that can be completely impossible if the parts don't match, but I find that scene soooo powerful. Like a person who really knows what they are doing, not those iddy-biddy boys who pretend.

The side glance looks I get from the men in the store while I'm there, and they thinking "whoowee a woman who shoots!" it's better than being Xenia warrior princess.

It's honest respect, and that's sexy.

I thought that sweet young thing was for banning guns, but I was surprised to discover that in all his research he was for home owners to have guns, and proper gun safety training. I asked him if he ever shot a gun, and he said no so I invited him to come with me to the range and I'd teach him a thing or two. We have a date tomorrow evening. Hmmmmmmmm

Great post - great attitude.

You have me from the beginning, but by the point you wrote tall with long black hair and a figure that would make you think of "Seven of Nine", I had a serious crush.

Reading your profile, you might wish to try some music by Tom Waits, especially, Alice.

Keep the faith (in Liberty.)
